I am so blessed to have found Cornerstone. I came in feeling lost in my faith and disconnected in general. I have seen an outpouring of love and encouragement on so many levels from the entire congregation. People really listen and care. I’ve been met with patience, kindness, understanding, and acceptance. No matter the setting, the feeling is always the same because the people are what makes Cornerstone feel so warm and welcoming. There are ample ways to serve God at Cornerstone. Being a volunteer nourishes my heart and soul. It is an amazing feeling to be able to be a part of something so impactful in our community and grow a stronger connection with others.
A great church family
I love Pastor Josh’s sermons and the worship music at Cornerstone, I leave encouraged and challenged each week. The women’s Bible study is excellent, and the women’s and men’s ministries helps people connect in fun ways. The kids connection program does a great job of helping kids grow in their faith and knowledge of God, plus the kids seem to really enjoy their time each week. The people at Cornerstone are caring and welcoming. All in all, this is a great church family!
Christ-centered & a place for everyone
My husband and I spent the first three years of our marriage looking for our home church – a community with a solid biblical foundation, Jesus at the center, and a community in which ordinary people like us have a place. We finally found it at Cornerstone, and we are so grateful! We were drawn to Cornerstone first because of the solid, biblically-based teaching. What made us realize this was our church home – what we recognized as different from other church communities that we had tried to join – was that members of the community pour their hearts and souls into the community and into each other. My husband and I get to serve in ways that give us joy: I serve on the welcome team and my husband works with the youth. Community members come as they are, welcome each other as they are, and welcome the gifts each person has.
